Frequently asked questions.

How long can I keep the dumpster at my house or jobsite?

5-7 days is enough for most people, however if you need more than a week, call us to discuss long-term pricing.

How much can I put in the dumpster?

Our dumpsters have a weight limit of 5000 lbs. net weight. While they can safely haul a little more, landfill fees increase with weight, so loads over 5000 lbs. will be charged an overweight fee of $75 per ton on weight in excess of 5000 lbs. We reserve the right to refuse overloaded dumpsters or dumpsters over 7000 lbs. as it may cause stress and damage to our equipment, and we must remain in compliance with DOT regulations. Regulations also require us to tarp the dumpster while on the road. Therefore, items loaded into the dumpster must not stick up past the top of the dumpster sides. Items protruding out must be adjusted or removed in order to properly secure a tarp over the dumpster for transport.

What type of materials are OK to place in the dumpsters?

General household trash, furniture, clothing, garage and barn clean-outs, construction and demolition (C&D) debris from kitchen or bathroom renovations, or siding & roofing jobs are all ok. Tree trimmings, shrubs and yard waste are all also acceptable.

What type of materials are not acceptable?

Unfortunately due to landfill and DOT restrictions, we are unable to haul or dispose of the following: sealed drums, soils, paints, chemicals, concrete slurry, asbestos, lead-based paint, any other substance or material known to be hazardous or environmentally harmful.
